This efficient, Lithium-Ion battery powered device is capable of effectively mowing a lawn area up to a maximum of 400m², negotiating itself around trees and fences. Once the boundaries of a lawn are set with a perimeter wire system, the Flymo 1200R can be left to wander off on its own.
These lawnmowers can make their way around the garden 24 hours a day, trimming the tips of the grass to let micro clippings form mulch to feed the lawn, meaning no more emptying grass boxes or collecting cuttings.
Without human intervention, the Flymo 1200R returns to its docking station to charge, then sets off again around the garden following its boundary wires for a consistently perfect lawn. It is quiet, emission-free and energy saving, with additional features including a safety stop button and anti-theft protection.
Anne Smith, brand manager for Flymo, said: “In 2016, Flymo’s high profile robotic lawnmower campaign stimulated a lot of interest in the UK market and gardeners are now waking up to the reality that robotic lawnmowers really do work. It’s a simple case of never having to mow the lawn again – just think what that means in terms of weekends and being able to spend more time with your family or friends, enjoying the real pleasures in life.”
