A standard one year manufacturer’s warranty is provided on all electrical products manufactured by Flymo, including and not limited to electric lawn mowers, electric rakes, trimmers etc.

The Flymo 1200R robotic lawnmower carries a two year warranty.

When purchasing a Flymo product from an associated retailer, you are entering into a contract with the retailer, NOT Flymo.

This is covered by the Sale of Goods Act, your rights are against the retailer – the company that sold you the product – not the manufacturer. However we would like to discuss any issue you have with a Flymo product before you attempt to return it to your retailer at Flymo customer services on 0344 844 4558.

If any part is found to be defective due to faulty manufacture within one year of original purchase, Flymo through its Authorised Service Repairers, will affect the repair or replacement to the customer free of charge providing:-

1. The fault is reported directly to the Authorised Repairer of Flymo; 2. Proof of purchase is provided. 3. The fault is not caused by misuse, neglect, or faulty adjustment by the user. 4. The failure has not occurred through fair wear and tear.

Where the product has failed due to user error, incorrect storage or inappropriate use, Flymo cannot be held liable for the product failure and all claims made against the warranty are held as void.

Note: Before phoning Customer Service it is advised that you first check the fuse of your product, and the plug socket that you are attempting to use. Failure to do so will result in a delay in processing your claim.

During this call you will be asked a few simple questions to try and ascertain the cause and fault with the product. Please have you product number and serial number ready, this can be found on a silver label on your machine.

Where machines are to be repaired, under no circumstances will parts be sent to individuals to undertake the work themselves. All our dealers are specially trained and qualified and are able to carry out electrical tests to ensure all parts are fitted correctly.


The Official Flymo WebShop ( is run and operated by Connect Distribution Services Limited. As such you are entering a contract of purchase with them NOT Flymo.

Returning items purchased on the Official Flymo WebShop from the UK.

Simply complete the online form found at: within 14 days of receiving your order. To make the process quick and easy we will provide a returns pack by email with full instructions on how to return your item(s). Once you have received your returns pack all you need to do is:

1. Print & select your label

If you have simply had a change of heart you can either use the 'self-paid returns label' and cover the cost of postage yourself or opt for the 'pre-paid label'. If you opt to use the pre-paid service then please be aware that £2.99 will be deducted from your total refund. If we have sent you an item that is either faulty, damaged or incorrect then we're really sorry and we will of course cover the cost to return.

2. Package your item

Place the item(s) in the original packaging or other appropriate packaging ready for despatch and securely attach your chosen returns label to the outside of your package.

3. Return your item

Take your package to the local post office and don’t forget to ask for proof of postage just in case the item(s) gets lost in transit.

4. Receive your refund

Once we've received and checked your item(s) we will process your refund. It usually takes 10 working days for this to appear on your account. If you have provided us with an email address then you will receive a refund confirmation email. To begin your return, simply complete the online form above within 14 days of receiving your order (you will need to have your invoice number handy, this can be found on your confirmation emails or paper invoice)

Returning items purchased on the Official Flymo WebShop from outside the UK.

If you are returning an item from outside the UK you are required to cover the cost of postage in all circumstances and we are unable to provide a pre-paid label option. Please note that you have 30 days to return the item(s) once you have received your items. If you change your mind and decide to keep the item(s) you don't need to contact us as in the event we do not receive your return within 30 days of the return pack being despatched we will simply cancel your request.

Deliver options for the Official Flymo WebShop

There are five delivery options available for delivery within the UK:

Standard Delivery - Orders usually take between 3 - 5 working days to arrive

Next Day Delivery - Orders placed before 8pm are delivered the next working day (Only available to select Monday - Thursday)

Express Delivery - Orders usually arrive within 2/3 working days (Only available to select Friday - Sunday)

Saturday Delivery - Orders will be delivered

Saturday (Only available to select Thursday - Friday)

Sunday Delivery - Orders will be delivered Sunday (Only available to select Thursday - Friday)

The delivery charge for Standard Delivery depends on the order value whereas Express and Next Day Delivery is charged at a flat rate. Please note that Royal Mail have made some changes to the way they operate. As of the 1st October 2012, they will now automatically leave your parcel with a neighbour if you are not at home when delivery is attempted.

Next Day, Saturday, Sunday & Express Delivery Explained

All of our UK Next Day, Saturday, Sunday and Express Delivery orders are delivered by DPD between 7.30am and 7:30pm. On the day of delivery you will receive an estimated 1 hour time slot for delivery by SMS. You will need to sign to confirm the delivery and you can track the progress of your order at any time using our Order Tracking Facility.

Your expected delivery day is dependent on the time your order is placed.

Postcode exclusions:

There are selected UK destinations where we are unable to offer next day delivery due to courier restrictions. In most cases our express delivery service will reach these destinations within 2 working days. If next day delivery is unavailable in your postcode area and you have selected the next day delivery option in the basket you will be prompted during the checkout process and given the opportunity to select an alternative delivery method.

International Delivery

Charges for delivery to non-UK destinations do not vary with the value of your order. Please be aware that there may be import duties and taxes to pay when your order reaches your country.

Unfortunately we are unable to cover these or any charges for Customs clearance so please bear in mind that you may be required to cover these.

We offer standard delivery to destinations worldwide. Alongside this, we also offer an express option to selected destinations. The cost of this service and estimated delivery time varies between countries and more details can be found by selecting your destination country.

Products Not Available for International Delivery

Please be aware that there are certain products on our website that are not currently available for International Delivery. If you add an item that cannot be shipped to your selected destination, you will be notified at the basket and the item will be removed. We are constantly making more items from our extensive product range available for delivery worldwide, however due to the size and weight of certain products these have yet to be cleared by our National Distribution Centre.

Lithium Battery Delivery Restrictions

Lithium batteries have been added to the Royal Mail Group list of dangerous goods and therefore we are unable to ship these items using this courier. If you require such an item you will be prompted to select our Express or Next Day service which uses DPD who are continuing to ship these items.
