Trimming your hedges
A well maintained hedge is easily achieved with the Flymo range of hedge trimmers. With a selection of cordless and electric hedge trimmers, hedges of all sizes can be kept neatly trimmed. When trimming hedges check first for any wire or obstructions in the hedge that could damage the cutter. Check also for nesting birds in the hedge to prevent disturbing them.
Hedges cut in early autumn will usually retain their neatly trimmed shape through until the following spring.
Topiary
Many shrubs can be trimmed to create topiary shapes. To maintain their ornamental shape trimming should be done as soon as soft new growth is made.
